Liam to remain in Motostar for 2018
Liam Delves will return to the HEL Performance British Motostar championship for a second year with the GR Motorsport WD40 team on the Stauff Connect Academy backed green and yellow machine.
The 17-year-old rider who is a second-year apprentice sign maker at Solihull based company is to take delivery of an all-new British prototype DR Moto Moto3 powered KTM handmade by Dean Reynolds of Reynolds Engineering in Milton Keynes.
Liam and his crew chief Mark Hanna, along with the team are heading to Spain in early March for a shakedown test and to bring the new machinery up to speed ahead of the official British Superbike test at Donington Park on March 20 where he will put the bike through its paces on home tarmac in preparation for the opening round of the new championship which takes place at the Indy circuit of Brands Hatch on April 15.
“I am really looking forward to getting back on a bike after the winter layoff, especially now we have new machinery. This should make me more competitive and I should be running with the front pack from the start. I would like to thank all my sponsors and followers for their continued support.”
There will be some great new sponsorship and commercial opportunities available too – and potential new sponsors and interested parties should get in touch at firstname.lastname@example.org for further details.
